Come Follow Me.

Last night I was reading the first chapter of John with some mates and was reminded of the simplicity of the Gospel message. Jesus simply said to people who were to become his disciples, “Come, follow me!” – When asked where do you live, Jesus replied, “Come with me and find out!” After they checked him out, Jesus went with them back to their own homes…followed Peter into his house and healed his mother in law of her high fever. I find it interesting that when Jesus says come follow me, he likewise promises to travel with us through our own journey of life as he promises never to leave us nor forsake us.

It was mentioned by another that there is a huge difference between following Jesus and believing in Jesus. So I ask you today, are you a believer, or are you a follower? There is a difference.
