The 4 A’s of Matthew.

I love this paragraph that comes from a Greek Scholar who takes the great commission seriously.

I leave you with the 4 “Alls” of Matthew 28:19-20 (the Great Commission of Jesus):

  • pasa exousia = “all authority” = unlimited power

  • panta ta ethne = “all the nations” = unlimited need

  • panta hosa eneteilamen = “all that I have commanded” = unlimited expectations

  • pasas tas hemeras = “all the days” = unlimited resources

Jesus promises to be with us “all the days” — that is, each and every day, one day at a time. Until we meet again, stay centred in Him, and live in love (Eph. 5:1-2).
