Generally speaking, my handwriting is untidy and often becomes nearly undecipherable. It becomes particularly so within a lecture environment when there is a race to get all the required points down. I have noticed that my handwriting becomes neater when I slow down my thought processes, such as what happens in my devotional time with Romans.
Within this devotional time, I write out one page of Scripture and then prayerfully ponder it on the next. I have felt compelled to write each word slowly and as I do, allow the text to sink into my soul. To allow my mind to absorb each word. To allow life to build up in my heart.
Yesterday I wrote one word that stood out to me from a whole page of writing. It was so neat it looked cool! I thought “Wow” that looks so good. Have you ever had the same experience?
