My wife and I had a date day today. We spent the afternoon at Burralow Swamp, which I have posted about before and stopped on the way home to take some photos from the Kurrajong lookout. It was a great spring day and the weather over Sydney was hazy, hence the horizon was blurry.
We put the billy on for a cuppa (I carry a small gas stove and supplies in the car for such occasions) and enjoyed the view. We finished, packed up and just as we were about to leave I noticed the moon coming up over the horizon. After pointing it out to Joanne, we both agreed we had to take some pictures of it…even though it was getting cold.
I’m sure you will agree it was worthwhile. I thank the Lord for providing a perfect ending for a date day.
