Jesus asks a hard hitting question. What is lawful to do on the Sabbath. To do good or cause harm. To heal or to destroy?
It’s interesting that those he asked this question went out and plotted how to destroy him…and yet the answer to that question is one we should ask of ourselves. How do we live our lives… do we live in a way that causes good and healing of self and community? Or instead do we live in a way that causes harm and destruction … both to self and our community?
It seems to me that the way of love calls out to us to live in within a good and healing context.
