Who do you cut yourself off from?

Luke records 3 accounts of overt grumbling in his gospel. Each time its the religious leaders and the religious lawyers who are complaining about Jesus eating and drinking and socialising with sinners. Even John the Baptist has some misgivings about Jesus and so Jesus tells his disciples to go and tell John what they hear and see.

Jesus goes to great lengths to show that God is for the lost, the broken, the sick, the lame, the rejected, the poor, unclean and unwanted.

Who are you cutting yourself off from and why?
