Time for what?

I was talking to someone today who a while ago asked me to be his mentor. I agreed and found it to be a real honour and privilege to do so. The last 12 months hasn’t been easy for him and he rang me today thanking me for being patient with him, speaking life into his life and in general being a listening ear.

I shared with him how I have felt the Lord say to me in the past to always give people my time, as time was His invention. This isn’t to say that setting boundaries and having appropriate levels of self care isn’t important for it is.

I feel its an important question to ask of ourselves and about the society in which we live as to why we no longer have time?
