Personal identity and the church.

In further reflection of my earlier post about Masculine Identity, I intend to write more about identity and how the church both helped and hindered my coping, experience and current understanding of identity.

The posts I’m thinking through will cover topics such as.

  1. Sense of purpose when healthy
  2. Sense of purpose when chronically sick
  3. Pastoral Care
  4. Peer group pressure / control
  5. Short term / long-term illness
  6. Abuse
  7. Marriage, Separation and Divorce
  8. The power of acceptance.
  9. Faith / Doubt

This list is not exhaustive. Some of my future posts may cover two or more of these topics, where others may take two or more posts to cover the subject. I may also discover that there are more topics to cover, which I will try to do so.
